JAZZ AND COLLECTIBLES AT KEYPORT’S FALL STREET FAIRKEYPORT, N.J. – Curious about the value of auntie’s antiques that fill your attic? Bring your treasures to the Keyport Fall Street Fair on Sunday, September 12, when live music, crafters and collectibles, and farmers with Jersey-fresh produce will join Keyport merchants in welcoming fall to “The Pearl of the Bayshore,” as the Borough is known. Presented by the Keyport Business Alliance, the festivities will take place from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m., rain or shine. West Front Street between Main and Broad streets will be closed to vehicular traffic to promote shopping and browsing at a leisurely pace. Mark Csik of North River Antiques and Auctions, 2 West Front St., will be offering appraisals from 12-2 p.m. for a fee of $5 for two items. Artisans, crafts and collectibles vendors will line West Front Street, and Keyport merchants will be out on the street showcasing new fall merchandise. A farmer’s market featuring Hauser Hill Farms and wine tastings will be tucked in a special galley off West Front Street. Palmer Jenkins Quartet will perform live jazz throughout the day. Street fair visitors can dine at one of Keyport’s many restaurants and cafes and then head to the Main Street mini park to enjoy Keyport’s Sunday night concerts. Johnny B & The Blue Blazers will perform from 6-8 p.m., presented by the Keyport Recreation Commission, Keyport Business Alliance and Wachovia.
