ANTIQUE AND CLASSIC CARS

KEYPORT, N.J. – Vintage automobile aficionados will find oldies and goodies galore to admire on Friday, June 18, when the Keyport Business Alliance will host an Antique and Classic Car Show from 6 to10 p.m. at the Stop & Shop/Keyport Plaza Shopping Center, located at Routes 35 and 36, just off Exit 117 of the Garden State Parkway.

The Car Show will award seven trophies, including Mayor’s Choice, Fire Chief’s Choice and People’s Choice. There will be a disc jockey playing oldies music, and Keyport Plaza merchants will be open for business and dining.

Owners with vehicles 25 years or older are invited to put them on display for the show. To register a vehicle to be shown, call Allen Consulting at (732) 946-2711. The first 200 pre-registered cars will receive commemorative dash plaques.

“We think a Friday night car show in Keyport is a fun way to welcome summer to the Bayshore,” said Jeff Fink, president of the Keyport Business Alliance.
