KEYPORT, NJ – The Keyport Business Alliance has openings for musicians, street performers, and arts and crafts vendors to take part in Keyport’s Summer Sidewalk Sale Days, featuring Sharks for the Arts, on August 2-
Sharks for the Arts is a traveling “Shark Tank” exhibition and juried art show that features decorated shark forms by dozens of professional artists. The exhibit will be showcased in Keyport storefronts during the Borough’s annual Summer Sidewalk Sale, which will be taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Friday, August 2, through Sunday, August 4.
“We want the event to have a festive atmosphere, with a little something for everyone,” said Kathaleen Shaw, business advocate for the Keyport Business Alliance. “With snack foods and drinks, people can shop and eat at the same time, and street performers keep the kids entertained while their parents browse the sales,” said Shaw. “Arts and crafts vendors add another dimension to the sidewalk sales because they bring one-of-a-kind items.”
